Mountain House Project

This mid-century modern mountain house was ready to be revived. The architecture of the neighborhood, views and natural lighting drew us in to this remodel project. We reinvented the clients outdated kitchen and changed the functionality by closing off a doorway, moving the range and hood to the island and adding more cabinetry for storage. We were able to maximize the kitchen space, making every inch functional. It is now elevated, bright and inviting.

We also remodeled two bathrooms and reconfigured a hallway closet to a laundry area. The previous master bathroom was a tub/shower combination, so we demoed the tub, created a walk in shower with a linear drain and relocated the shower valve for easy on-off access.

In the guest bathroom, the client chose hexagon floor tile, a custom shower enclosure and rustic barn door.

Our clients can't believe this is the same home and they feel so lucky to be able to enjoy it every day.
